Wilburt Stevens Maltby
[1894] Wilburt Stevens Maltby and I both graduated from the same high school, though were separated by about 120 years. It was in Lebanon, New Hampshire that we both found our knack for bicycle riding, and it was this realization that led Maltby around the world as a preeminent trick cyclist. Pictured here on his Keating Bicycle, Maltby was both employed as a sales agent and sponsored as an exhibition cyclist by the Keating Wheel Company. Fast forward to today, I find myself trying the same tricks as Maltby (nearly), on a machine just as innovative as his would have been circa 1894. The apple does not fall far.
